I’ve been on copy courses before, and have been writing copy for some time - but your course had more impact than other courses, because the content and pace were excellent, it was very well presented, and you were able to answer any questions the group put to you.

The course was excellent, really interesting and enjoyable. I learned a lot. I also learned that when creating an ad to ‘Save the Shark’, not to put ‘shark’ and ‘attack’ in the same sentence!

I will certainly recommend your course to my contacts.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, and found it informative and of real value for improving the correspondence we send from Customer Services. I came away with several ideas not only for my own style of writing but also for ideas to promote our events to the delegates or potential delegates.

It was a fun way of learning, whilst picking up lots of tips and pointers along the way.

Heidi Lawrence
Customer Services Manager
Economist Conferences

Thanks for running such an enjoyable writing workshop for our team in New York.

It’s clear that you know your subject back to front, but what sets you apart is your deep understanding of communication in combination with language, and how to write for the audience. Your responsiveness to clients and effectiveness in a one-to-one as well as a group context are excellent. You are also very creative and make a potentially boring subject fun!

As you know, good writing is a core brand value for The Economist Group. With your help our people are able to demonstrate it every day in their work.

Sally Bibb
Director Group Sales Development
The Economist Group

Andy and Scott's writing workshops focus on the importance of language as a business tool. They taught me how to write in a clear, concise manner, while avoiding lazy habits such as relying on buzz-words and jargon. I expected the sessions to be useful, but was surprised by their fun and upbeat tone. Every firm, regardless of industry, can benefit from these workshops.

David Grossman
Marketing Executive

I'd like to thank you and Scott for a very useful workshop. It is important to learn how to simplify our communication to customers. Your workshop effectively reviews how to chart a course when writing a communication and above all to keep it simple and direct.

Often in today's world we salespeople spend too much time doing business from our point of view rather than from our customer's perspective. Our business communications, whether in the form of email, powerpoint, word doc, phone call often reflect this ineffective position as a result.

Your course helps to put priorities on the right track.

James Alfieri
Advertising Sales Executive

I would like to thank you for your excellent workshop at the RIBA Manufacturers Network yesterday. I not only found it informative, but well delivered.

I want to thank you for an excellent business writing course, held recently in London and Vienna. Colleagues in both locations found it of enormous value. In particular, there was a clear focus on practical tools and techniques to improve writing; and the tailored approach, combined with your ability to convey your enthusiasm for writing, resulted in a very positive and effective outcome.

The workshop presented some great tips on capturing and maintaining your audience's attention. And it was fun!
